Hey there,
I have an area that plants don't do well in and I wanted to try some Mushrooms, does anyone happen to be familiar with South Florida native mushrooms that are prolific? This is my space:
Just bought some King Oyster mycelium but always looking for someone with experience.
Update: Found a website that sells an outdoor product that looks very promising here: https://www.fungi.com/outdoor-kits/artic ... -kits.html
One of the items they sell looks like a very durable and prolific mushroom that grows on a variety of substrates, video here:
They also sell indoor products here: https://www.fungi.com/shop/indoor-growing.html
Prices and varieties look good, ordering both the outdoor packages shortly (Garden Giant / Running Oyster) will have to test and post results here... I don't think my results will be too reliable though since this is my first attempt at mushroom cultivation, FYI.
Also, for those wanting to innoculate stumps or logs this may be helpful:

Fungi Perfecti was and is my go-to website for information. I do have some concerns that their location (all the way across the Rockies on the west coast) and climate might not be a good fit for my location and regularly visit and consider getting spawns from two other sites as well.
Looking forward to reading about your project
