I found this weed growing a the end of a strange drive that led to nothing except to a haven of wild plants. I may have arrived too late to see it at its peak. Any guesses what it might be?

velvetleaf. It's the one I have written about that is a great trap crop for leafminers.
One year I planted some mixed wildflower seeds. This was in it and it is the only one that still comes back. It is a little weedy, but not seriously aggressive and I always leave some to be the trap crop and to set seed for next year.
