Maintaining asclepias tuberosa...

This is the second year I have these wonderful plants. It has bushed out nice. But in the last week it dropped most of it's flowers. The plant is looking strong. Do I dead-head or do I just wait for more. If I do dead-head I'm not sure where to clip it... Thanks

I generally don't get around to deadheading until the floral heads turn into spikey seed pods, then I clip off below the last seed pod, and the plant will grow new shoots and flower again.

Keep an eye out for Monarch butterfly caterpillars. Part of the reason I don't clip too quickly is because I want to be sure I don't accidentally remove eggs or baby cats.
