EMERGENCY!! I speared my bulbs!

I was digging around in my yard to transplant some things

I accidentally speared 2 of my bulbs.

One of them I only chopped of a chunk of the side; all the roots and stem are on one side

The other one is perfectly down the middle. Each side has some roots and stem.

Is there any way I can save them?

Naughty, naugthy. However it is not the end of the world. I'd replant them separatly and add some bonemeal they may not flower nxt year but they should be okay in two.

thanks everyone.. I replanted them. I hope they'll be okay! Because I don't even know what these are! I dug them up in another part of the yard (that has not bloomed in years) and replanted them this February. Lo and behold they sent up thick green leaves, but they did not make flowers.

Thick green leaves like this?

Good sized bulbs that can be split in half that grow thick leaves sounds like tulips. Probably will flower next year.

No not quite. They came up straight and were thin in width, but thick in depth. if that makes sense, the tips of them were pointy and curled a little bit
