Larkspur

I have Larkspur blooming and I don't remember planting them. They're the MOST beautiful lt. blue I've ever seen. Are they a perennial and how can I re-seed? Any help is most appreciated...= Zone 5

It is a perennial, but a very short lived one, usually only 2-3 yrs. But will self seed.
