Hello all,

I am looking for tips on what grommets or other methods are recommended to use to add holes to and seal them on cat litter containers. I've seen one tutorial with a grommet used but the exact type of grommet and what types of tubes/supplies should be used to interface with it are not mentioned so I am hoping I can get some tips here.

I’m not sure if this is what you are talking about, but I use rubber grommets and vinyl tubing for buckets and storage tubs. You look for the inside diameter of the grommet and outside diameter of the tubing to obtain the match. For a watertight fit, the outer diameter of the tubing should be just a tiny bit larger.

For larger diameter and hard pvc tubing, it’s better to use bulkhead and other specialized fittings with washers.
