Is this a fungus?
I'm new to this so please forgive me if this is common knowledge to the rest of you. I'm trying to identify what this is and what to do about it

I’m not sure what part of this photo you are asking about. I see a plant that looks maybe like a monstera with natural holes and lobes in leaves, as well as maybe pothos with what looks like eaten leaves — maybe by slugs?
I also see brown nubs on vine-like stems that I’m pretty sure are proto-roots that would set down and grow into roots given half a chance.
I also see what looks like weeds — maybe clover....
So far I don’t see anything that would be ID’d as fungus.

You may have answered my q. This right here is what I am referring to.
It looked odd and out of place to me but as I stated I'm new and still learning. I also placed one of my sage plants really close to this one (to the point of contact) and within a few days a couple of the leaves started turning black. That may be a separate issue to investigate
