Dead spots in lawn

We have several dead spots in our lawn. They’re in the same locations each year and seem to be increasing in number and in size. We have a mixture of St A and centipede grass with oak trees. Can someone tell if this is a fungus or insect issue from the pictures, and will spraying a fungicide or insecticide help?
