Mamey Sapote (Red Sapote, or Mamey)

So I bought a mamey sapote at the Global Foods store, and I will eat it soon. Advice on planting seed? Also, is the seed orthodox or recalcitrant?

I've germinated the closely related sapodilla. don't let the seeds dry. being a tropical, there shouldn't be any stratification needed or anything like that.

Ok. Guess what though. The seed had germinated inside the fruit when I cut it open :D so yeah. Thanks! JONA, try one of those $600 portable acrylic or glass mini greenhouses. They are amazing; I am growing a mango seedling in one!
It won't let me post a pic tho, bigger than 2 mb
