This is a through the window picture. It's a goldfinch, in winter drab, with the seed pods from the gigantic monster trumpet creeper vine (this is a second story window and all those branches are the vine!). The finches and some other birds eat the seeds out of those pods most of the winter.

This one won't let me edit it; it's odd how some do and some don't. Anyway I shouldn't have said that about all the branches are the vine. All the ones in front are; there is a tree in the background....

That's such a fun view with the goldfinch!
